Job Summary

This role is for a reliable and technically proficient Data Center/IT Technician based in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, focusing on hands-on infrastructure support within a data center environment. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the physical setup and dismantling of IT racks, meticulous hardware installation (servers, storage, switches), and precise cabling management (copper and fiber optic) according to documentation. A key part of the role is systematic ticket processing and performing optical and physical troubleshooting. The position requires dedication to detail, structured work habits, and the ability to work within a demanding 3-shift system, including weekend and on-call duty. Crucially, all work must be documented carefully and promptly in English within customer systems.
