Job Summary

This part-time IT Technician role, based in Waldshut-Tiengen, focuses heavily on managing and developing the Mobile Device Management (MDM) system for schools supported by the District Media Center. Day-to-day tasks involve the organization and administration of the MDM system, managing associated tablets and laptops, and providing 2nd-level technical support, escalating to 3rd-level when necessary. The role also includes conceptual development of the MDM system, conducting training sessions for local IT administrators, and advising schools on media technology, network infrastructure, and cloud solutions. Key requirements include a completed education as an IT Specialist for System Integration or equivalent, and deep knowledge of Linux server administration and MDM systems is beneficial.
