Job Summary
Join a reputable, family-run metal construction and locksmith company as a Service Technician, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and repair of doors and gates primarily across Eastern Brandenburg and Berlin. This field service role offers a flexible working time model (flextime) and involves independent responsibility for annual and semi-annual inspections and maintenance checks. Day-to-day tasks include performing electrical and mechanical repairs, either solo or as part of a team, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the safe functionality of all installed systems. Candidates should possess a vocational qualification in a relevant trade such as electrician, electronics technician, mechatronics technician, or metalworker. The position is also open to career starters and lateral entrants with relevant technical experience, offering modern equipment, 30 days of vacation, paid travel time, and regular training opportunities.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electrician, Electronics Technician, Electrical Installer, Mechatronics Technician, Locksmith, or Metalworker. Other relevant craft/trade qualifications accepted.
Experience
- Professional experience in installation and testing of doors and gates (preferred)
- Ability to work on ladders and lifting platforms
