Job Summary

This role as a Measurement Technician in Bochum involves crucial quality control tasks for series production, focusing specifically on wheelset components. Key responsibilities include evaluating complex 3D measurement data, assessing results, performing first-part approvals for serial manufacturing, and conducting Initial Sample Inspections (FAIs). The successful candidate must be proficient in operating the Zeiss 3D measuring machine and handling various precision measuring instruments, demonstrating the ability to measure accurately down to the micrometer level. Ideal candidates possess a professional background as a Machining Mechanic or Technician, coupled with practical experience using Calypso software and basic knowledge of SAP for accessing stock, drawings, and manufacturing information.
