Materials Tester | Werkstoffprüfer (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the quality and integrity of materials used in production by performing comprehensive testing and analysis. Day-to-day responsibilities include taking material samples from production batches, preparing metallographic cross-sections, and conducting various material tests. A core part of the job is accurately documenting results, creating detailed test reports, and assessing material quality against established standards and norms. The successful candidate will also contribute to root cause analysis for material defects in components and be responsible for the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment and machinery. Key requirements include a completed education as a Materials Tester or equivalent, strong knowledge of testing procedures and standards, and proficiency in IT systems like testing software, ERP systems, and measurement data acquisition. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring accuracy, reliability, and willingness to work in shifts.
