Job Summary

This role involves the conception and development of modular software architectures primarily using LabVIEW, ideally leveraging frameworks such as Actor Framework or DQMH. The developer will be responsible for integrating and configuring National Instruments (NI) hardware, including PXI, cRIO, and cDAQ, as well as third-party sensors and actuators. A core function is the creation of automated test sequences, potentially utilizing TestStand, for validating complex assemblies. The position requires implementing various communication protocols like CAN, Modbus, TCP/IP, and EtherCAT, alongside designing intuitive user interfaces for data visualization and system operation. Successful candidates must possess a background in engineering or computer science, multi-year experience in LabVIEW programming, and a strong understanding of NI measurement hardware and analog/digital circuit technology, working in a permanent, full-time capacity.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Physics, or comparable qualification. Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) or Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA) is a strong plus.

Experience

  • Multi-year experience in LabVIEW programming
  • Experience with NI TestStand (ideally)
  • Professional experience with NI measurement hardware
  • Experience with software version control (Git, SVN)
