Job Summary

This role involves working as an Application Developer specializing in IT Security and Cryptography for one of Europe's largest banking IT service providers, supporting the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, and operating secure, complex, and highly available cryptographic services utilizing Hardware Security Modules (HSM). A key focus will be analyzing advancements in cryptography, particularly Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and Zero-Trust architectures, and actively participating in the development of PQC migration strategies. This position requires a strong background in Java development, a scientific degree in Computer Science or Mathematics, or equivalent experience, and a commitment to designing software architectures based on Clean Code principles. The role offers the chance to take on high responsibility in security-relevant development processes and contribute significantly to the digital security of financial services.

Required Skills
