Job Summary
This role is for a Senior Security Engineer specializing in Check Point, joining an expert IT Security and network communications firm focused on developing customized cybersecurity solutions for corporate clients. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for the analysis, planning, implementation, and documentation of secure, highly available IT infrastructures and comprehensive cybersecurity strategies. A core focus is minimizing the risks of cyber-attacks by deploying cutting-edge IT security concepts and solutions. You will actively participate in diverse IT projects, conduct customer workshops, and provide specialized 3rd Level Support, including participation in on-call duties. The ideal candidate possesses a strong IT educational background (degree or vocational training), professional experience with large-scale IT system landscapes, and in-depth, certified expertise in Check Point technology, alongside knowledge of routing and switching. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training and/or a completed degree in the IT field; Check Point certifications required.
Experience
- Professional experience with central IT systems in larger IT system landscapes
- In-depth professional experience working with Check Point, demonstrable through certificates
- Professional experience in the analysis, planning, implementation, and documentation of IT infrastructures
- Professional experience in minimizing cyber-attack risks and implementing security concepts
