Job Summary

The Technical University of Aschaffenburg is seeking a dedicated Administrative Officer to join the Third-Party Funds and Taxes department. This part-time, temporary role (50% employment, until March 31, 2027, covering parental leave) involves the administrative and financial processing of public and private third-party funded projects. Key responsibilities include evaluating projects, particularly regarding tax implications, supporting digitization processes, and assisting with the implementation of § 2b of the German VAT Act and a Tax Compliance Management System. Candidates should possess a degree in Administrative, Economic, or Legal Sciences, or relevant professional experience as an administrative specialist or equivalent commercial training. Success in this role requires a structured, meticulous, and service-oriented work style, strong communication skills, and proficiency in modern office communication tools, especially Excel. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or University of Applied Sciences degree in Administrative, Economic, or Legal Sciences, OR successfully completed vocational training as an Administrative Specialist or comparable commercial training.

Experience

  • Professional experience in administrative or commercial roles (required if educational background is vocational)
  • Experience in handling legal topics (advantageous)
  • Experience with tax law and numerical affinity (advantageous)
