Job Summary

This role offers an opportunity to join an experienced Tax Team within the energy sector, focusing on critical property tax administration. The specialist will handle daily tasks related to property tax (Grundsteuer) and real estate transfer tax (Grunderwerbsteuer), acting as a key liaison for inquiries from financial administration. Core responsibilities include reviewing and processing payments for corporate real estate levies, utilizing OCR procedures to scan incoming tax assessments, correcting data errors in SAP, and maintaining detailed objection lists. Furthermore, the position supports the preparation and submission of property tax declarations and assists with overall tax planning. The ideal candidate holds a commercial apprenticeship, possesses strong organizational skills, and is proficient in German, with initial SAP knowledge being beneficial. This is a six-month contract position, based in Essen with 40% remote work flexibility, offering valuable insight into the tax processes of a major international energy company.
