Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Design Engineer specializing in the rail vehicle sector, focusing on the design and construction of fixtures and devices. Day-to-day responsibilities include utilizing Creo 9 and PDMLink (Windchill) for 3D modeling and data management, creating 2D drawings using AutoCAD 202, and managing material procurement via SAP. The engineer will be responsible for obtaining and evaluating quotes for manufactured parts, providing production support, and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation. Key requirements include a completed technician or master craftsman qualification, proven experience in mechanical engineering and fixture design, and deep expertise in steel construction, welding, and special machine construction.
