Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Development Engineer specializing in Medium Voltage Switchgear to join a successful medium-sized engineering firm providing comprehensive technical expertise across the entire process chain. The core responsibilities involve planning, preparing, and executing rigorous development and type tests on gas- and air-insulated medium voltage switchgear within the company's specialized testing laboratory. The engineer will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and documenting test results, creating detailed reports, and ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of all testing and measuring equipment. Furthermore, the role requires continuous focus on quality assurance and the advancement of product standards. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Technology, fundamental knowledge of medium voltage switchgear, and excellent familiarity with relevant standards, particularly the IEC-62271 series.
