Job Summary

This role involves supporting the OMEXOM Business Unit in Halberstadt by planning, organizing, and executing commissioning processes for high-voltage substations, directly contributing to the future of energy supply. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with internal and external partners, conducting rigorous tests and inspections on transformers, switchgear, and protection/control systems, and troubleshooting any malfunctions. A key responsibility is the setup and testing of protection devices. The successful candidate will create comprehensive test reports and handover documentation, and provide training to operating personnel during the initial operational phase. This position requires a strong background in electrical engineering, proven experience in commissioning protection devices, and proficiency in MS Office, offering an opportunity to shape the energy transition within a supportive, growth-oriented global company.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering (e.g., Electronics Technician for Operational Technology, Energy and Building Technology, or Electrical Systems Installer), AND a completed degree in Electrical Engineering OR further training as a State Certified Technician or Master Craftsman in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the testing and commissioning of protection devices
  • Professional experience in electrical engineering or related technical field
