Job Summary

This leadership role involves spearheading the Site Planning and GIS team, driving wind energy projects from initial concept through to final approval. The Head of Site Planning/GIS will be responsible for defining and applying restriction and exclusion criteria, conducting location-based analyses—from white space mapping and site evaluation to park layout development—to provide robust decision-making foundations for acquisition and management. A key focus is ensuring the practical, planning-relevant application of GIS, including the introduction of a PostGIS database and establishment of a WebGIS system. The ideal candidate brings professional experience in wind energy project development, strong GIS application skills (specifically QGIS), and either proven leadership experience or a strong motivation to take on management responsibility, all while contributing to the energy transition in a dynamic, medium-sized company.
