Job Summary

This role involves serving as an Electrical Engineering Estimator, responsible for the technical and commercial calculation of complex electrical projects, ranging from electrical systems and sustainable energy to security technology and building automation. Day-to-day tasks include determining customer requirements, developing technical solutions, and compiling competitive and cost-effective proposals based on inquiries and specifications. The Estimator will participate in bidder and negotiation meetings, track proposals, review contracts, and prepare project handovers to Project Management. Key qualifications include a technical background, ideally as an Electrician for Energy and Building Technology, supplemented by further training as a Master Craftsman or Technician in Electrical Engineering. Success requires strong analytical thinking, structured work habits, excellent cost awareness, and experience with estimation software.
