Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Team Leader to manage a microbiology laboratory team, focusing on the analysis of drinking water, cooling water, and pool water samples. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading the team, managing sample intake and processing, evaluating results, and entering data into the LIMS system. The leader will also be responsible for procurement, ensuring quality assurance measures are upheld, managing laboratory equipment, and coordinating proficiency testing (Ringversuche). The ideal candidate has a background as a Biology Laboratory Technician (BTA), a natural science degree, or equivalent qualifications, coupled with professional experience in microbiological laboratories. Success in this position requires excellent communication skills, a conscientious and independent work ethic, and fluent German proficiency (C1 minimum).
