Job Summary
This role involves the crucial installation, configuration, and maintenance of Fiber to the Home (FTTH) infrastructure across various German project sites. The technician will be responsible for laying, splicing, and testing fiber optic cables, installing network devices according to NE4 project standards, and ensuring stable connectivity for end-users. Key daily tasks include diagnosing and resolving network faults, providing technical support, and communicating effectively with customers regarding network usage. The ideal candidate possesses a relevant technical background in telecommunications or electrical engineering, basic German language skills (B1 minimum), and a valid Class B driver's license, enabling them to travel independently to construction sites. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or higher degree in Telecommunications, Network Technology, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields
Experience
- Experience in the installation and maintenance of FTTH networks (advantageous)
- Experience in the German or European market (advantageous)
- Relevant technical background required (training provided for candidates without direct FTTH experience)
