Job Summary

This role involves supporting the Shared Service Center Accounting team within the Saxon Real Estate and Construction Management (SIB) public enterprise, focusing on essential financial management tasks for the Free State of Saxony's construction and real estate budget. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily processing and auditing of invoices related to the construction and property budget, executing the economic plan, and managing payment orders within budgetary programs. Key activities include conducting account reconciliation for monthly and annual financial statements and contributing to general accounting processes. Candidates must possess strong foundational knowledge in accounting and budgetary law (or the willingness to quickly acquire it), excellent PC application skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work independently and meticulously with complex data and regulations. This is a permanent, full-time position offering flexible working hours, mobile work options, and competitive public service compensation (Salary Group 6 TV-L or up to A 8 for civil servants).

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Administrative Specialist or a comparable completed commercial vocational training; OR eligibility for the non-technical administrative service, career group 1, 2nd entry level.

Experience

  • Professional experience in general administration or state financial administration (preferred)
  • Professional experience in accounting or comparable commercial roles
  • Experience with public budgetary programs (willingness to learn specific SIB programs required)

Languages

German (Fluent)

  • Willingness to acquire knowledge in specific budgetary law (SäHO) and specialized SIB accounting programs.
