Product Manager for Renewable Heat Energy Supply | Produktmanager (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is central to managing the energy supply products, specifically focusing on renewable heat and electricity delivery within Berlin's urban development context. The Product Manager acts as the key contact for product management, commercial processing, and calculation, handling the negotiation and creation of customer contracts, managing tenders, and overseeing external supplier agreements. Day-to-day tasks involve calculating and monitoring business cases, ensuring regulatory compliance, identifying funding opportunities, and managing application processes. Furthermore, the role requires developing internal processes, creating project mandates for new construction and modernization of energy generation plants (like heat pumps, CHP, and PV systems), and maintaining the billing software. The ideal candidate holds a degree in economics or engineering, possesses multi-year experience in energy supply/contracting, and has comprehensive expertise in energy plant calculation and relevant regulatory frameworks (AVBFernwärmeV, WärmeLV, GEG, WPG). Fluency in German is required for professional communication across all levels.
