Job Summary

This role involves working within the dynamic Facility Management team of the German Federal Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt) in Berlin, focusing heavily on the digitalization of property management. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the introduction and administration of the CAFM-Bund eTask (Computer Aided Facility Management) application, including systems like Allfa, Allplan, and CAD-related successor applications. Day-to-day tasks include project support for the CAFM rollout, managing new version deployments, creating comprehensive documentation (user manuals, training materials), and organizing and delivering First-Level Support to users. This position requires strong organizational skills, high flexibility, and a service-oriented approach to ensure efficient processes and innovative solutions within the ministry's property portfolio.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Administrative Specialist, Real Estate Specialist, Office Specialist, Industrial Specialist, IT System Specialist, Specialist in IT System or Digitalization Management, or Certified Technician in Information Technology

Experience

  • 2 years of professional experience in the relevant vocational training field after graduation
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in an IT-related field (e.g., specialized administration, IT application support, digitalization projects, First/Second-Level Support, data management) is required for candidates without an IT background
  • Experience in supporting specialized IT procedures or applications
  • Experience in documentation creation (user guides, security concepts)
