Job Summary

This role involves developing training devices and systems for both military and civil sectors, managing the process from initial proposal through to delivery. The Development Engineer will be responsible for the technical assessment and analysis of functional requirements, creating specifications, and developing technical solutions for electrical components and assemblies. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring compliance with required standards, meeting deadlines and cost targets, and collaborating interdisciplinarily with internal and external partners in both German and English. A key focus is the system-technical support and product maintenance of both new developments and established systems, including creating wiring diagrams and construction bills of materials. This position requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and extensive professional experience, ideally with knowledge of digital, analog, and high-frequency technology, and experience with E-CAD systems and bus systems like Profinet and CAN-Bus.
