Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position in Vienna requires a Technical Specialist in Electrical Engineering to manage and optimize critical infrastructure within thermal waste utilization plants. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and controlling all maintenance, inspection, and repair activities for electrical components, drive systems, and Measurement, Control, and Regulation (MCR) technology. You will be responsible for comprehensive resource planning (personnel, materials, spare parts) and selecting the optimal maintenance strategies (preventive, predictive, etc.). A key part of the role involves technical specification development, construction supervision for electrical projects, and managing external contractors, including contract and claim management. Candidates must hold a technical degree (University/FH or HTL equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology. Professional experience in electrical engineering within power generation facilities and knowledge of relevant systems (MCR, medium/low voltage) are highly valued, along with a structured, independent, and hands-on approach to work.
