Job Summary
This role requires a proactive Semiconductor Service Technician to manage the full lifecycle of measuring devices, focusing on maintenance, repair, and calibration. The position involves working both in the lab and traveling across Europe to customer sites. Day-to-day tasks include commissioning new equipment, performing rigorous quality control, and providing comprehensive technical support to clients, handled either remotely, telephonically, or in person. A crucial element is the planning and execution of technical training sessions for both internal staff and external customers. The ideal candidate must hold a qualification as a state-certified Technician in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, coupled with strong written and verbal English skills. Given the international nature of the role, a willingness to travel approximately 40% is a key prerequisite for success in this demanding engineering environment.
