Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Senior Buyer in Nagold to take ownership of end-to-end procurement processes, from needs and market analysis to tendering and contract finalization. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading complex national and international price negotiations, concluding framework agreements, and systematically developing supplier relationship management, evaluation metrics, and future-proof commodity strategies. A key focus is on process optimization and realizing savings potential through global market observation and collaboration with internal departments and suppliers on cost reduction measures. The ideal candidate must possess a commercial background, several years of strategic/operational purchasing experience coupled with strong technical understanding of production processes, BOMs, and manufacturing cost calculation. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, along with proficiency in MS-Office and SAP, and a professional, assertive negotiating style.
