Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a dynamic team specializing in custom machine building in Iserlohn. The position involves the design and construction of electrotechnical systems for PLC-based plant controls. Key day-to-day responsibilities include creating circuit, terminal, layout, and cable diagrams using EPLAN Electric P8, integrating automation solutions, and selecting/dimensioning electrical components in compliance with relevant standards. The ideal candidate holds a degree or equivalent qualification (Technician) in Electrical, Automation, or Energy Technology, coupled with at least five years of professional experience in electrical design using EPLAN. Strong knowledge of power supply technology, converter technology, and sensor technology is essential. The position requires a high willingness to travel globally for service assignments and commissioning, demanding excellent German (C1) and good English (B2) language skills.
