Job Summary

This specialist role focuses on the strategic development and operational compliance of Medical Care Centers (MVZ) and outpatient structures within the largest clinic system in Baden-Württemberg. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing all KV- and KZV-approval and licensing procedures, ensuring timely application and continuous process monitoring. A critical function is optimizing outpatient billing processes, specifically analyzing fee documents (EBM) to identify optimization potential and ensuring high-quality, compliant accounting. The Specialist will also provide expert consultation and training to MVZ departments on contractual and billing topics, contribute actively to strategic development, and prepare key performance indicator (KPI) analyses for management decisions. Candidates must hold a degree in Business Administration or Economics, or possess equivalent qualifications in healthcare management. Success requires strong analytical and conceptual abilities, a deep understanding of economic and strategic contexts, and a highly structured, solution-oriented work style.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Business Administration or Economics; alternatively, completed training in healthcare (e.g., Specialist in Social and Healthcare Management) or equivalent experience and skills.

Experience

  • Professional experience in steering KV- and KZV-approval and licensing procedures
  • Good knowledge of outpatient billing, especially EBM and KV/KZV topics (Beneficial)
  • Professional experience in implementing legal and quality requirements in outpatient care
  • Experience with the SAP IS-H module or Medistar (Desirable)
