Job Summary

This role involves joining a dedicated team in Hannover, contributing significantly to the future of genetic diagnostics within the amedes group. The Scientific Associate will be primarily responsible for patient-oriented reporting in molecular (hemato-)oncology and somatic genetics, directly influencing individual therapy planning. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and Liquid Biopsy data, optimizing NGS analysis pipelines, and developing new analytical methods to expand the somatic diagnostics portfolio. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Biology or a related natural science, possesses experience in molecular diagnostics (especially NGS), and is proficient in handling sensitive patient data and specialized laboratory IT systems (GePaDo, MOLIS, Varvis, QCI).
