Job Summary

This role is for a proactive Software Engineer specializing in Cybersecurity, supporting the team across all phases of the software development lifecycle. The position requires both advisory and operational contributions, ranging from initial conception through programming, maintenance, and continuous improvement of security solutions. Core technical responsibilities include the development and optimization of the internal Cryptography API, implementation of security checks (STIGs), and the deployment of Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) scanners. The engineer will also be responsible for critical security tasks such as conducting static and dynamic application security tests (SAST/DAST), code analysis, and hardening system images using tools like AppLocker, BitLocker, and Firewall configurations. Successful candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, possess professional experience with .NET, and be proficient in modern software architecture and Clean Code principles. The role demands fluent communication in both German and English, offering a strong focus on vital security development and risk mitigation.
