Job Summary

This role involves serving as the dedicated Process Owner for critical microfabrication modules within the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Chemnitz University of Technology. You will be responsible for the autonomous support and continuous development of defined processes, such as Lithography (Mask Aligner / Stepper), Thin-Film processes (PVD, CVD, ALD), and wet/dry etching techniques (RIE/ICP). A key part of the job is ensuring process monitoring, optimization, and documentation to guarantee reproducible results for both research and prototype manufacturing. Furthermore, you will manage complex semiconductor equipment, coordinate maintenance, analyze malfunctions, and provide technical consulting and training to scientific staff, doctoral candidates, and students.
