Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Development Engineer focused on designing and testing communication software for battery-electric control units. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and testing software, designing and maintaining continuous test strategies within SiL/HiL environments, and ensuring software compliance with standards like AUTOMOTIVE SPICE and ISTQB. The engineer will be responsible for creating and implementing detailed test cases and plans, working collaboratively with international development partners. Key requirements include a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, strong experience with vehicle and control unit networking protocols (FlexRay, CAN FD, Ethernet, LIN), and proficiency with development tools like SiL, HiL, CANOE, and PREEvision. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Technical Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or comparable qualification. ISTQB Certificate is advantageous.

  • Experience in development and testing of communication software for battery-electric control units
