Job Summary

FERCHAU is seeking a Chemical-Technical Assistant to join their team, focusing on complex development projects within the Pharma and Life Science sectors, specifically involving food analysis. This part-time role (20-25 hours/week) requires hands-on laboratory expertise, including sampling, sample preparation, and conducting physical-chemical analyses of foodstuffs. Key responsibilities include the operation, monitoring, and precise calibration of various laboratory devices, such as HPLC and GC instruments. The assistant will also be responsible for generating detailed analysis reports, meticulous documentation, and ensuring strict quality controls adhere to both internal and external standards. Furthermore, the role involves supporting the development of new testing methodologies and communicating effectively with production, quality assurance, and external laboratories. Candidates must have a successfully completed CTA qualification or equivalent, possess experience in a food analysis environment, and demonstrate strong proficiency in German and good working knowledge of English.
