Job Summary

This role involves executing and documenting standardized radiochemical analyses according to internal specifications. Key day-to-day tasks include preparing samples through processes like drying, grinding, ashing, and microwave digestion, followed by the separation of radionuclides using established analytical methods. The technician will also perform fundamental measurements in Alpha, Beta, and Gamma spectrometry, and assist in the planning and organizational implementation of analysis orders. Candidates must possess a completed apprenticeship as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, professional experience in radiochemical activities, particularly in the preparatory processing of radioactive substances, and required medical and security clearances for working in controlled radiation areas.
