Job Summary

This role involves working as a Test Engineer specializing in power electronics, focusing on ensuring the reliability and performance of high-tech components for a leading technology solutions provider. Day-to-day responsibilities include the planning, execution, and documentation of tests on power electronic assemblies and systems, such as inverters and DC/DC converters. A key part of the job is developing comprehensive test concepts and building test benches for both high-voltage and low-voltage applications, including executing EMC, environmental, and lifetime tests. You will be instrumental in analyzing failure patterns and collaborating closely with development, quality assurance, and production teams to determine root causes. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, possesses strong foundational knowledge in power electronics and electrical measurement technology, and has experience with high-voltage systems. Good proficiency in both German and English is required.
