Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Development Engineer specializing in Electrical Engineering and Automation to contribute to exciting shipbuilding projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include the design, dimensioning, and conceptualization of electrical components specifically for maritime applications, alongside conducting functional testing before delivery. The engineer will also be responsible for creating technical specifications, procurement documentation, and safety-relevant installation plans. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, strong knowledge of electrical planning and project execution, and excellent written and spoken English skills. Experience in shipboard electrical system design, PLC control, and EPLAN is highly advantageous.
