Job Summary

This role involves providing essential service and automation support for complex industrial systems, focusing on maintaining and optimizing automated plants and machinery directly at customer sites. Day-to-day tasks include commissioning, maintenance, and repair of automated systems, performing detailed fault analysis, troubleshooting PLC-controlled machines, and implementing software adjustments and updates (e.g., using Siemens S7/TIA Portal). A key responsibility is supporting the optimization of control and automation solutions, documenting service deployments, and training customer personnel. The ideal candidate holds a degree or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics, possesses experience with various PLC systems (Siemens, Beckhoff, B&R), and has knowledge of drive technology, sensor technology, and industrial communication protocols. The position requires a self-reliant, solution-oriented approach and significant readiness to travel both domestically and internationally.
