Job Summary

This leadership role involves taking overall strategic and operational responsibility for enhancing the supplier base within the maritime industry. The Team Lead will actively contribute to competitiveness by focusing on quality, deadlines, and cost efficiency, while leading a team to drive sustainable improvements across the supply chain. Key tasks include developing and standardizing processes, methods, and KPIs to ensure transparency and measurable performance improvements across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, coupled with substantial professional experience (over 5 years) in supplier development, preferably within shipbuilding. Strong leadership skills, expertise in risk management structures, and fluency in both German and English are essential for success in this demanding, yet rewarding, role.
