Job Summary

This role involves leading the development of firmware for controllers managing sophisticated LED systems, focusing on creating visual anchors in an increasingly digital world. The Senior Embedded Firmware Developer will be responsible for hands-on development of core firmware components, selecting and implementing suitable technologies, and deriving technical requirements from product, hardware, and security specifications. A key aspect of the role is providing technical leadership and coordination for external developers, conducting thorough code and architecture reviews, and collaborating closely with hardware, cloud, and product development teams. Candidates must bring extensive professional experience in embedded firmware development, strong proficiency in Embedded C/C++, and expertise in defining and implementing robust firmware architectures for networked embedded devices, coupled with an excellent understanding of IT security within these systems. The position offers a hybrid work model based in Bergneustadt or Solms.
