Job Summary

This role involves working as a Protection Technician specializing in medium-voltage systems within the industrial energy sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include conceptualizing protection systems for medium-voltage networks, creating wiring diagrams for new and modified medium-voltage switchgear, and performing testing, programming, and parameterization of protection relays using modern equipment. The technician will also be responsible for commissioning medium-voltage switchgear and associated protection technology at customer sites, performing maintenance and repairs on electrical power supply systems and transformers, and conducting fault analysis and troubleshooting.
