Job Summary

This role involves the crucial administration and maintenance of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), specifically ixServ, ensuring seamless operation within a major healthcare network in the Leipzig district. Day-to-day responsibilities include system maintenance, customizing the LIS to align with specific laboratory processes and Hospital Information Systems (KIS), and managing user accounts. A core focus is on controlling, maintaining, and establishing KIS interfaces (Comserver) with various laboratory systems and technology. The administrator will be responsible for error analysis, troubleshooting laboratory IT issues, and integrating laboratory and measuring devices into the existing IT infrastructure, including versioning and documentation. This position requires strong collaboration with laboratory specialists, the internal IT department, and external service providers, making strong communication and analytical skills essential.
