Job Summary

As an Internal IT Auditor at NBank, the central promotional institute for Lower Saxony, you will independently plan and execute crucial IT audits, ensuring strict adherence to both internal policies and external regulatory frameworks such as KWG, MaRisk, and DORA. A key focus of this role involves providing audit support and assessment for significant IT and digitalization projects. Day-to-day tasks include drafting precise, targeted audit reports complete with actionable recommendations, tracking the implementation of corrective measures, and offering advisory support to management and specialist departments. You will also analyze external audit findings, review incident and damage reports, conduct specialized audits, and actively contribute to the continuous development of the internal IT audit function. This position is vital for shaping the future economic strength and infrastructure of Lower Saxony, and it requires a relevant university degree or extensive professional experience, coupled with strong analytical skills and knowledge of IT standards like BSI and ISO.
