Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the quality, safety, and sustainability of consumer goods, focusing specifically on inorganic chemical analysis at Intertek's Fürth location. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing chemical tests, including sample preparation and instrumental analysis using techniques like ICP-OES, ICP-MS, and AAS. Daily tasks include evaluating, controlling, and meticulously documenting test results, implementing new testing procedures, and updating existing methods while ensuring compliance with Quality Management (QM) requirements. This position requires a background as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or Chemical Engineer with professional experience in elemental analysis and knowledge of physical and chemical analysis of consumer products (e.g., toys, REACH, RoHS).
