Job Summary
This role seeks a versatile, hands-on Production and Maintenance Technician to ensure smooth and efficient operations at the Mannheim site. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating and monitoring manufacturing and filling equipment, actively supporting the production team during peak times, and executing both preventive and corrective maintenance. The technician will be crucial in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, repairing components (including pneumatic and compressed air systems), and documenting all maintenance activities. A key part of the job involves driving continuous improvement initiatives (KVP) and participating in technical projects aimed at optimizing plant availability, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate holds a technical qualification in mechanics, mechatronics, or electrical engineering, coupled with strong problem-solving skills and foundational knowledge of industrial plant maintenance and troubleshooting.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of industrial plants
- Experience with pneumatic and mechanical systems
