Job Summary

This Data Engineer role, based in Hamburg, is central to managing and evolving the EDEKA Data Platform, focusing specifically on critical domains like Customer Data, CRM, and Transaction/Master Data. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of data products, including developing and optimizing data architectures and pipelines, particularly within the Azure/Databricks environment. Daily tasks involve building and maintaining robust data integration processes, ensuring high data quality through rigorous quality assurance, and adhering strictly to Data Governance standards. You will work closely with the development team and the Product Owner to align technical execution with product goals. Key qualifications include a degree or training in IT/Data Science, robust practical experience in developing data pipelines, and a solid understanding of cloud databases, ETL processes, and Azure data technologies.
