Job Summary
This role involves supporting the implementation and management of bilateral exchange programs within the Pedagogical Exchange Service (PAD) of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs. The focus is on administering school partnerships, particularly those related to MINT (STEM) fields with Central, Eastern, and South-Eastern Europe through the Junior Engineer Academy Network, and managing the Summer Study Program for US students. Day-to-day tasks include advising applicants, processing applications, recruiting schools and course leaders, coordinating with domestic and international partners, managing budgets, and reporting to funders. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree or equivalent administrative qualification, possesses strong intercultural and organizational skills, and is proficient in German (C1/C2) and English. This part-time position (50%, 19.7 hours/week) is initially temporary but aims for extension, contributing to intercultural dialogue and educational quality improvement.
