Job Summary

This critical role involves managing and enhancing the IT security posture for a leading B2B Digital Services Provider within the Austrian Post Group. The IT Security Engineer will be central to securing the entire information management lifecycle for clients. Daily responsibilities include ensuring the seamless execution of defined IT security processes, managing the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system, and overseeing the Security Operations Center (SOC). You will coordinate responses to security incidents, proactively identify and assess vulnerabilities in IT systems, and develop remediation strategies to close security gaps. A strong focus is placed on continuous improvement, supporting relevant certifications (such as DORA, NIS, and ISO standards), and coordinating penetration tests, requiring an independent and highly responsible working style.
