Job Summary
This role involves providing essential IT support and field service activities for a Berlin-based IT service provider. The Onsite Supporter will be responsible for both internal and external field service duties, acting as the primary point of contact for user IT queries. Day-to-day tasks include transporting IT systems to client workstations, setting up and cabling new hardware, manually configuring bespoke software, and assisting end-users directly on site. A key part of the role involves maintaining system documentation and general system upkeep. Candidates should possess a vocational qualification in IT or equivalent professional experience, strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (7 through 11), networking basics, and Microsoft Office/Outlook. Fluency in written and spoken German is a prerequisite, along with a Class B driving license and the ability to provide an extended police clearance certificate.
