Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Project Manager specializing in Renewable Energy Generation, based in Burgwedel near Hannover. You will be instrumental in expanding the company's self-generated renewable energy capacity across approximately 2,400 operating sites, primarily focusing on rooftop and open-space photovoltaic (PV) installations. Day-to-day responsibilities include independently planning and executing projects, conducting economic analyses, managing tenders, coordinating external partners, and overseeing contract management for construction and operation. A key component involves developing integrated building energy concepts (e.g., PV and heat pump combinations) and optimizing plant operation through load profile analysis to support cost-effective electricity trading. The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree in engineering (e.g., Electrical or Energy Technology) and possesses current knowledge of German energy efficiency laws, particularly the EEG 2023. This position offers the chance to drive climate-neutral operations within a large retail environment.
