Job Summary
This role involves providing 2nd Level Support, focusing on the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex Windows and/or Linux environments and associated network infrastructures. The specialist will be responsible for analyzing and resolving technical incidents, collaborating closely with 1st and 3rd Level Support teams, and contributing to the planning and implementation of system and network architecture improvements. Key responsibilities also include performance monitoring using tools like SolarWinds or Checkmk, implementing security policies (EDR, Firewall, SIEM), and participating in IT development projects such as migrations and automation initiatives using scripting languages like PowerShell or Python. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical knowledge in virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and configuration management (Ansible, Puppet), and must have excellent German language skills (C1 minimum) to ensure effective communication within the team and during process documentation.
