Job Summary

This critical role involves acting as the client representative for the planning and construction of railway crossings, structural frameworks, and open/closed water crossings (HDD/Microtunneling), primarily within the Hamburg metropolitan area. The manager will actively support the procurement process, from creating technical tender documents and evaluating bids to overseeing contract awards. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and accepting services contracted to partner firms, ensuring overall supervision of planning and construction activities, and independently managing sub-projects for network facilities across all phases (LPH 1-8). Key qualifications include a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, ideally paired with several years of professional experience in construction site management for civil engineering projects and familiarity with specialized deep foundation construction methods. Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills are essential for coordinating with property owners, authorities, railway operators, and other utility providers to secure cable routes.
