Job Summary

TÜV SÜD is seeking a dedicated Electrical Systems Testing Engineer to play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing electrical safety and preventing fire hazards across various installations. The core responsibility involves independently conducting mandatory inspections of safety-related systems, including general electrical installations, emergency power supplies, emergency lighting, fire alarm, and alerting systems, strictly following local building law requirements. This encompasses both pre-commissioning checks and recurring periodic inspections. To qualify, candidates must hold a completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field, and demonstrate a commitment to promptly undergo training to achieve recognition as a certified expert inspector (Prüfsachverständiger). While autonomous work within the assigned region is expected, strong communication skills and fluent German are essential for success in this critical safety role.
